Announcing the 2017 Maker Show

The third annual Maker Show returns June 11th for more interactivity, more making and more fun!

On June 11th, dozens of makers will descend on Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Co. in downtown Truckee to share the infectious excitement of their creations with hundreds of locals. As in previous years, we'll have food trucks, beer, live music, art cars, performances, bike parking, kids activities (mini-makers, as we like to say), and an eclectic assortment of crafts, arts, technologies, hobbies and projects.

Do you make something cool? You should bring it!

We find makers come in the 'hobbyist' and 'commercial' varieties, and we are thrilled to welcome both. Some of you make amazing creations that you sell at other events, online, etc, and we want you to show us how you make them, share the delight you take in making something with your hands and your brain. Others of you are hobbyists -- you make art, you make gifts for your friends, you invite people out to your garage to show off your latest creation -- bring whatever that is! This is your chance to share the delight that you get from that thing. That's what this event is in celebration of!
