Why Expansion
Matters

Our goal is to make creativity accessible to everyone in Tahoe Truckee, including students, families, professionals, and retirees alike. But right now, we’re turning away eager learners because there just isn’t enough room.

That’s why we’re expanding from 4,680 sq. ft. to nearly 7,000 sq. ft. — a 44% increase in space that will:

  • Double ceramics capacity to serve more classes and members

  • Relocate and make our metal shop safer

  • Remodel and upgrade our tech shop

  • Add a dedicated classroom for students and workshops

  • Expand offerings to jewelry making and stained glass

  • Give more makers, families, and youth the tools and room to create, learn, and thrive

Every square foot we build means more opportunity, expanded youth and community programs, and more space for makers, students, and families to create, learn, and thrive.

Our open floor plan limits our ability to run multiple programs at once. With 2,000 square feet of new space on the way, we’ll finally be able to host more makers, students, and ideas all at once.
