Our community is bursting with creativity—but our space is at capacity.
The Truckee Roundhouse is ready to expand into new creative frontiers. With your support, we’ll grow from 4,860 sq. ft. to nearly 7,000 sq. ft., giving more makers, students, and families the room they need to create, learn, and thrive.
From October 15 to November 1, we’re on a mission to raise $165,000 to expand our makerspace. This expansion will double ceramics capacity, create a dedicated classroom, and give more makers, students, and families the room they need to thrive.

The Truckee Roundhouse Community Makerspace has outgrown its current home. Popular classes have long waitlists, and our ceramics shop alone has over 50 people waiting to join. Our open floor plan limits our ability to run multiple programs at once. To meet this demand, we are expanding into 2,000 sq. ft. of new space—including a larger ceramics shop, a relocated and safer metal shop, a remodeled tech shop, and a new mezzanine with classroom space. This expansion will reduce waitlists, expand youth and community programs, improve safety, and open the door for new offerings like jewelry making and stained glass.
